Schools Roadshow

What is the Schools Roadshow?

The Tennis Roadshow visits the school delivering tennis to age groups from reception through to year 3. 

The aim is to provide opportunities for a high number of pupils to enjoy the game of tennis for FREE!

How does it work?

The TC Schools Roadshow can visit your school bringing all the equipment and coaching team. Sessions last for 30 minutes per class and aim to see as many classes within their visit as possible.

The target age group to deliver the sessions are from reception through to year 3 but they can deliver the sessions to older pupils if you have available time to do so.

What are the requirements?

Schools will need to provide the following…

• One class (approx. 30 pupils) every 30 mins
• Minimum of 4 classes
• Indoor space (school hall) for the activity or as back up for bad weather
• Outdoor space optional
• Promote follow on opportunities for the pupils to carry on playing the sport. 

What happens next?

Following the TC Schools Roadshow, the pupils at your school will be invited to attend the TC Fun Day at Chesterfield Lawn Tennis Club where they will be able to take part in tennis activities.

As well as attending the Fun Day, the pupils will be offered a special offer exclusive to the TC Schools Roadshow.

When is it?

The TC Schools Roadshow will be taking place on the following weeks…

Block 1: 11^th - 17^th February 2019

Block 2: 8^th - 12^th April 2019

Block 3: 20^th - 24^th May 2019

Schools can select either the morning or the afternoon to have the Roadshow attend their school.

How much does it cost?

The TC Schools Roadshow is FREE to attend your school.
