The Mini game with the big attitude!

Mini Tennis offers the perfect introduction for children between 2 and 10 years old. Using smaller courts, nets and racket, with lower bouncing balls, Mini Tennis is designed to help mini players learn in stages and develop fundamental co-ordination skills alongside tennis technique from an early age.

See below for the Tennis Chesterfield Mini Tennis pathway and how to get started.

Parent & Toddler (2-4 years)

This session provides lots of toddler-friendly ball skills, balancing and co-ordination games with an introduction to using the racket. Young players gain confidence having thier parents involved with their initial learning.  Here's our Apr-Jul Parent & Toddler reward chart.

Tots Tennis (3-5 years)

Our Tots Tennis sessions include learning different balls skills, balancing and co-ordination games with an introduction to using the racket and hitting over the net. Here's our Apr-Jul  Tots Tennis reward chart.
